Bounce Bowls

The first “Bounce Bowls” session was held yesterday afternoon, 15th August. The idea behind these sessions is to get people playing more bowls in a casual format, and make more use of our great facilities over the weekend. All members are welcome, and these sessions will run most Saturdays (unless the greens are in use for other events) meeting at 1.30pm for a 2pm start

This first event saw ten members turn out, and 5 pairs compete in a round robin competition, with the inagural victory going to David Morton and Robert Richmond, in a close final that saw Brian Davies and Roger Perham fall short by just one bowl! The afternoon was enjoyed by all, with a great atmosphere during all of the short 4 end games
